About Rivas Technology Group
Rivas Technology Group is a home technology and security company that handles the AV and technology side of golf simulator rooms as one of its services. It is based in Kent, Washington, and has been in business since 2020. The company works in Tacoma, Kent, Gig Harbor, Puyallup and the surrounding South Sound area.
Here is how they describe their simulator work, in their own words: "Rivas Technology Group installs the AV and technology side of indoor golf simulators in Tacoma, Kent, Gig Harbor and Puyallup." They do not build the enclosure, impact screen or turf; that part comes from simulator vendors separately. What they install is the projector matched to the room's throw distance, a Foresight, Trackman or SkyTrak launch monitor on a wired network, in-ceiling audio, lighting positioned off the screen, and a Control4 keypad that starts the round with one button.
Two things here matter beyond the feature list. A launch monitor on a wired Cat6 drop with its own access point matters because a dropped Wi-Fi packet stops the round mid-swing, which a residential router in the next room cannot reliably prevent. Lighting kept off the screen matters because a recessed can aimed at the impact surface washes out the picture, which is a common mistake in rooms built hardware-first. The company holds a Washington electrical contractor license, is bonded and insured, and is a Control4 Authorized Dealer and Ajax Systems dealer, with CEDIA membership from 2022 to 2026.
The AV and technology scope runs $8,000 to $35,000 or more installed, with the top end being a room built to double as a theater. Workmanship carries a 90-day warranty, with manufacturer warranty on the hardware itself. No specific installation timeline is published.
This is a good fit if you already have, or are sourcing separately, the enclosure and screen, and you want one team to handle the projector, network, audio, lighting and keypad control that make the simulator actually work.
