About Blue Ridge Golf Spaces
Blue Ridge Golf Spaces is a golf simulator specialist that designs and installs custom indoor golf spaces for homeowners in Roanoke, Virginia, and the surrounding area. The company does not state how long it has been in business.
Here is how they describe their work, in their own words: "we design and install a setup built specifically for you." They build out garages, basements, and bonus rooms into dedicated golf spaces, handling the enclosure and impact screen, foam wall paneling, turf and flooring, and the launch monitor and projector setup.
A few of these pieces matter beyond how they sound. Foam wall paneling protects the walls and the player from mishit balls, which matters once you are swinging a driver indoors. The choice between an overhead launch monitor and a side or rear unit affects both cost and how the room gets used day to day: overhead units keep the floor clear and work equally well for right and left handed golfers, while side or rear units can cost less but need more careful placement. They also give space guidance up front, recommending at least 10 feet wide by 15 feet deep by 9 feet high, and closer to 15 by 16 by 10 for a full swing from both sides of the ball.
No pricing is published; they describe their range as running from simpler setups to fully built in rooms at the higher end, with the final number depending on the space and equipment chosen. They also note that in most cases you buy your own launch monitor, projector, and computer, so the manufacturer warranty stays in your name. They do not state a warranty on their own installation work, a street address, or any licensing or certification. Google shows a 5 star rating from one review.
This is a good fit if you have an unused garage, basement, or spare room in Southwest Virginia and want someone to handle the design and build of the space itself, while you choose and own the simulator equipment.
