About CG Golf Customs
CG Golf Customs is a golf simulator design and build company based in South Jordan, Utah, with a showroom open by appointment. It is part of Rocky Mountain Audio Video & Electric, which gives it its own licensed electricians and theater and lighting background rather than relying on outside subcontractors for those pieces.
Here is how they describe their work, in their own words: "We plan, build and tune golf simulator rooms that feel like part of the house, not a machine parked in the basement."
They install both Trackman and TruGolf, and explain which is right for a given buyer. Trackman is built for players who want tour-level ball and club data and serious practice, while TruGolf pairs accurate launch monitors with a large course library and an easier, more social feel, with a Multi-Sport option that turns the same screen into games for the whole family. Power and permits are handled in-house by their own electricians, who run dedicated circuits for the projector, PC and climate control, which matters because simulator rooms draw real electrical load and a poorly planned circuit causes problems later. Room control runs through Lutron, Control4, Crestron or Josh.ai, so one button sets the lighting, shades and system together. They also build cinema-grade surround sound and custom cabinetry, including a PC cabinet with a flush-inset touch monitor, so the room doubles as a home theater.
They build in basements, garages, outbuildings, new construction and commercial bays, and work from a walkthrough through a single itemized proposal, build, and calibration and handoff, staying on call afterward. Financing is available through Acorn Finance. Pricing, warranty terms and years in business are not published. Google shows a rating of 5 stars from 5 reviews.
This is a good fit if you want one company handling the simulator, the electrical, and the home theater and control systems together, and you are open to visiting a showroom before deciding between Trackman and TruGolf.
