About Gungho Golf
Gungho Golf is a golf-specialist retailer and simulator builder based in Austin, Texas. They sell launch monitors, screens, projectors, mats and enclosures as individual components, and they also design and build complete custom home golf simulator studios. They serve customers across the entire country, not just locally, and are reachable Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm Central.
Here is how they describe their work, in their own words: "we sell and support golf launch monitors, software, mats, projectors, and impact screens, and design and build custom home golf simulator studios."
They carry multiple launch monitor brands, including Foresight, Trackman, Uneekor, ProTee VX, TruGolf, SkyTrak, FlightScope, Bushnell, Garmin and Rapsodo, which matters because it means they are not locked into pushing one manufacturer over another. Their enclosure kits are custom made "any size down to the inch," useful for rooms with awkward dimensions or low ceilings where an off-the-shelf kit will not fit. They offer three screen formats, retractable, built-in, and enclosure, each suited to different needs: retractable for a room that doubles as a garage or living space, built-in for a permanent dedicated bay, and enclosure for a straightforward standalone setup. An online tool lets a buyer enter their room's width, depth and ceiling height, pick components, and see the layout update before requesting a quote, with the team confirming every detail before ordering.
Pricing is itemized per component rather than quoted as one flat project price. Sample complete builds shown on their site include a SkyTrak MAX setup totaling $8,586.99, an Uneekor EYE XO 2 setup totaling $20,901.99, and a Trackman iO setup totaling $34,421.99, each plus free shipping. They do not state whether they handle installation for residential customers or publish a warranty.
This is a good fit for someone who wants to pick and compare specific components, including the launch monitor brand, screen type, mats and projector, rather than hire a local team to manage the whole build in person.
