About Bijou Builds

Bijou Builds is a custom home builder in Austin, Texas, with golf simulators built under its Bijou Custom Spaces division alongside wine cellars, home gyms, bars, trophy rooms and ADUs. The company works out of Austin and also builds across the Hill Country, including Westlake, Lake Travis, Dripping Springs, Bee Cave and Spicewood. It is a member of the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin, the Westlake Chamber of Commerce, and the Westlake Chaps Club.

Here is how they describe their simulator work, in their own words: "Bijou Custom Spaces builds custom golf simulator rooms in Austin and the Hill Country: structural, acoustic, lighting, and launch-monitor tech engineered from the ground up around your ceiling height and swing."

Ceiling height gets specific attention, and for good reason. Most golfers need at least 9 to 10 feet of clearance for a full swing, and Bijou says it will tell you plainly during the site walk whether your space works as-is or needs a raised slab, lowered floor, or reframed ceiling. They also convert garages and bonus rooms into simulator bays, but note that a Texas garage needs real HVAC and insulation first, since conditioning is part of what makes it a usable room.

On cost, Bijou does not publish a fixed simulator price. They say the number is "scoped to the room," driven more by the tech package, structural work, and finish level than by square footage, and point buyers to a free site walk or their AI tool, Beckett, for a range. No warranty length, project timeline, or licensing detail specific to simulators is published.

This is a good fit if you are already building or remodeling a home with Bijou and want the simulator room designed into that larger project, or if you want the structural and acoustic planning handled with the same rigor as a full custom build.
