About Hammer Stars, Inc.

Hammer Stars, Inc. is a general contractor that builds golf simulator rooms as one of its services, alongside kitchens, bathrooms, additions and other home renovation work. It is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and has been in business since 2014, with a leadership team that says it carries more than 25 years of building and remodeling experience.

Here is how they describe their simulator work, in their own words: "At Hammer Stars, we specialize in designing and installing high-performance indoor golf simulator rooms throughout Tulsa, including Broken Arrow, Bixby, Jenks, Owasso, and surrounding areas." That work covers the full build, from framing, electrical and insulation through impact screens, turf, lighting and enclosures, rather than just dropping equipment into an existing room.

A few things are worth knowing before you call. Hammer Stars is a Certified Graduate Remodeler and Certified Professional Builder, credentials from the National and Oklahoma Home Builders Associations that require a minimum years of experience and ongoing coursework. Its founder, Josh Zajac, has received the Tulsa Home Builders Association's Remodeler of the Year award. The company is licensed and insured, which matters on a job that often involves electrical and structural work and permits, and it backs its projects with a 3 year warranty, longer than the one year some builders offer. For garage conversions specifically, they say they handle insulation and climate control, since Tulsa summers and winters are hard on equipment without it.

A simulator room runs $15,000 to $75,000 or more, depending on ceiling height changes, electrical upgrades, soundproofing and the equipment chosen, and most projects take 2 to 6 weeks. They do not publish which launch monitor, projector or screen brands they install, so that's a question for the consultation. They work throughout Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Bixby, Jenks, Owasso, Catoosa, Sand Springs, Sapulpa, Glenpool, Coweta, Collinsville and Claremore. Google rates them 4.8 stars from 74 reviews.

This is a good fit if you want the simulator built as part of a larger, permanent renovation, by a contractor who also handles the framing, finishes and permitting around it.
