About aboutGOLF

aboutGOLF is a golf simulator specialist. It is based in Maumee, Ohio, and says it has been perfecting indoor golf simulators for over 30 years.

Here is how they describe their work, in their own words: "For over 30 years, we've been perfecting the art and science of indoor golf simulators, becoming the industry's complete end-to-end solution along the way." They design, build, install and support the systems themselves rather than handing off any of those stages to someone else.

The company sells both DIY kits, which a homeowner assembles, and custom-built simulator rooms where their own installation crew handles the work, for residential rooms and commercial venues alike. Every package uses their own 3Trak launch monitor, which tracks the ball's flight directly rather than inferring it from club data, something worth knowing if accuracy matters more to you than price. Enclosures are built with commercial-grade aluminum framing and a ceiling baffle system meant to stop mis-hit balls from damaging the room, a real concern in any space with drywall or a finished ceiling nearby. Their software gives access to more than 95 virtual courses and a range of practice games, and commercial customers get a management platform called Clubhouse to run a simulator as a business.

Pricing on their site starts at $27,800, and that figure covers more than one package, so the exact cost of a given room depends on which simulator, enclosure size and options you choose. They do not publish a service area, business hours, warranty terms or a typical installation timeline, so those are worth asking about directly.

This is a good fit if you want a simulator built around aboutGOLF's own launch monitor and software rather than a mix of third-party brands, and if you are comfortable confirming warranty and scheduling details yourself before signing on.
