About CAVES
CAVES is a home audio, video and smart home company with stores in Bismarck, Dickinson and Minot, North Dakota. Its core trade is home theaters, whole-house audio, smart home control and security systems. Golf simulators are one product line among several.
Here is how they describe their installation work, in their own words: "We design and install home theaters, wireless surround sound, whole-house audio, outdoor speakers, and TVs." They also install Savant and Control4 systems for lighting, shades and screens. If you want a golf room connected to the rest of the house, you are working with the company's main trade.
Their golf offering is the Foresight Sports Custom Golf Simulator System, listed at $18,999.00 and currently marked sold out. You choose one of four launch monitors: the GC3, GC Quad, QuadMAX or Foresight Falcon. The package includes an adjustable enclosure, a hitting screen, a hitting mat and turf, a gaming desktop computer with a dedicated cart, a full HD projector, and software with 35 golf courses. A course bundle is available for $1,999, and it is meant to be bought with a simulator.
The enclosure frame adjusts to 11, 12 or 13 feet wide, and a frame extension can be added. The width has to clear your swing, so measure the room before you order. If the room changes later, you can reconfigure the frame and order a new screen instead of a new enclosure. Installation can be added at checkout.
They do not publish an installation price, how long they have been in business, a warranty, store hours or installer credentials. Google rates the company 4.7 stars from 101 reviews.
This is a good fit if you already want audio, video or smart home work done in Bismarck, Dickinson or Minot and would like a golf simulator added to the same project. It is less suited to someone who wants a golf specialist, since golf is a secondary line here.
