About FPAV Electronics

FPAV Electronics is a home technology company that installs televisions, home audio, home theaters, smart home systems and security, with golf simulators as one of its services. It is based in Shelby Township, Michigan, and works across southeast Michigan towns including Birmingham, Bloomfield, Clarkston, Grosse Pointe, Lake Orion, Northville, Rochester Hills and Royal Oak.

Here is how they describe their simulator work, in their own words: "Bring the golf course into your home with our expertly installed TruGolf simulators." They install TruGolf systems, including the MultiSport ARCADE, which uses an interactive sports camera so the same room can run games like soccer, bowling and dodgeball along with golf.

FPAV also writes about combining a simulator with a home theater, since many of their simulator customers are really building a dual-purpose room. They note that a comfortable setup generally needs at least 10 feet of ceiling height, 12 to 15 feet from the tee to the screen, and 8 to 10 feet of width, though they say they will look at an actual room and suggest changes if space is tight. They also point out that golf simulators can be loud and that acoustic treatment and sound-isolating choices help keep a room comfortable for both late-night practice and movie nights, and that a high-lumen projector paired with an impact-resistant screen lets the same setup handle both golf and film.

No price is published. They say cost depends on room size, equipment level and finishes, and that they provide a detailed proposal after seeing the space in person. Licensing, insurance and warranty terms are not listed on their pages.

This is a good fit if you want a simulator built into a broader home theater or smart home project, handled by a company that already does your TV, audio and automation work.
