About Birdie Bay Installations
Birdie Bay Installations is a golf-specialist company that designs and installs golf simulators. It is based in Overland Park, Kansas, and works across the Kansas City metro, with its core area covering Johnson County and Lawrence, out to roughly a 50-mile radius. No start date is published for the business.
Here is how they describe their work, in their own words: "The expensive mistake is not buying the wrong brand. It is buying a system that cannot fit, project correctly, read shots reliably, or coexist with the room. We eliminate that risk before the boxes arrive."
That philosophy shows up in their process. They start with an on-site Fit Visit, a 90-minute assessment that checks swing clearance, electrical, and network setup and ends with a go or no-go report before any equipment is bought. Their FAQ notes this visit is free for their founding clients, with the first three also getting founding pricing in exchange for letting the company photograph the finished room, so it is worth asking directly what applies to your project. They work with multiple brands, including TrackMan, Foresight, SkyTrak, Uneekor, and Garmin, and say they recommend based on room and budget rather than commission.
Design and planning runs $750 to $1,500, covering a scaled layout, projector geometry, a matched component list, and a fixed installation proposal. Build and install pricing is itemized and quoted after that stage, not published as a flat rate. They also coordinate licensed electricians when a room needs new circuits or wiring, and offer an optional monthly care plan for tune-ups and remote support. No warranty or guarantee is stated, and no business hours are published.
This is a good fit if you want the room and equipment checked for compatibility before you commit to hardware, and you want one local crew handling design, installation, and training.
