About J² AVL
J2 AVL (J² Audio Video & Lighting) is a home and commercial technology integration company in Des Moines, Iowa. Its main work is audio, video, lighting, networking and smart technology. Golf simulators are one of its services, alongside home theater installation, video conference service and permanent holiday lights.
Here is how they describe their simulator work, in their own words: "At J2 AVL, we provide professional golf simulator design and installation in Des Moines, West Des Moines, Grimes, Waukee, and surrounding Central Iowa communities."
J2 AVL supplies the whole system, including enclosures, impact screens, launch monitors, projectors and hitting mats, from partners such as Carl’s Place, and names TrackMan and Foresight launch monitors. Because it is an AV company, the projector, sound, lighting and networking are planned together with the simulator instead of being added later by a second contractor. For a basement install it evaluates ceiling height, swing clearance, lighting and ventilation before designing the room. At the end it calibrates the system and walks the owner through the software. After installation it offers maintenance, adjustments and future upgrades.
On cost, J2 AVL gives a range: residential systems typically run from $10,000 to $70,000 or more, and commercial installs may cost more depending on size, usage and features. It also works with bars, restaurants, golf lounges, fitness centers, corporate offices and entertainment venues.
No street address, warranty terms or licence details are published.
This is a good fit if you live in the Des Moines area, want a simulator tied into the home theater, lighting and network, and want one company to handle both.
