Austad's Golf

About Austad's Golf

Austad's Golf is a golf retailer with locations across Iowa, North Dakota, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Minnesota, including a store in West Des Moines. Simulators are one part of what they sell, alongside clubs, balls, apparel, shoes, bags, and custom club fitting. This write-up covers their Des Moines store.

Here is how they describe their simulator work, in their own words: "Our Des Moines team specializes in golf simulator sales, planning, and installation for golfers across central Iowa, helping you build a setup that fits your space, your game, and how you want to use it."

Their simulator lineup includes DIY series packages, retractable packages, and curved-screen packages, plus launch monitors, enclosures, accessories, and projectors sold separately so a buyer can put together a system piece by piece. They carry launch monitor brands including Foresight and Uneekor. They also offer a simulator consultation and a buying guide, which suggests someone will talk through space and budget before you commit to a package, though the pages available do not spell out what installation itself involves, whether that means delivery and setup guidance or a full hands-on build in your home.

No price for a simulator package or consultation is published. The Des Moines store is open Monday through Friday 10am to 7pm, Saturday 10am to 6pm, and Sunday noon to 5pm, at 1580 22nd St. West Des Moines, Iowa.

This is a good fit if you want to shop simulator packages and components the way you would shop clubs, at a store you can visit, with a consultation available to help you choose, rather than hiring a dedicated simulator contractor to design and build the room around you.
