About Home Sweet Home Theatre
Home Sweet Home Theatre is an audio, video and smart home company that installs golf simulators as one of its services. It is based in Lake Villa, Illinois, and works across the greater Chicago area and northern Illinois. It has been installing home entertainment systems for more than 20 years.
Here is how they describe their simulator work, in their own words: "Home Sweet Home Theatre installs custom golf simulator setups for Antioch homeowners who want to play and practice at home."
Before any equipment is ordered, they check ceiling height, room depth and swing clearance. That order of work matters. A simulator needs enough height for a full swing and enough depth for the ball to reach the screen and for the tracking equipment to read it. A room that falls short on either cannot be fixed by buying different gear afterward. They also say a garage is a common and practical place for a simulator, and that support continues after the installation.
The company is licensed and insured, is a member of IBEW, the electrical workers' union, and lists a 5-year warranty. Being licensed and insured matters on a job that involves new wiring and mounting equipment in your house. They offer a free in-home consultation, and their hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Google rates them 4.7 stars from 28 reviews.
They do not publish prices, and they do not name the launch monitor or projector brands they install, so ask about both on the first call.
This is a good fit if you live in Lake County or the northern Chicago suburbs and want the simulator, the wiring and the audio and video in the room handled by one local company.
