EOC Audio

About EOC Audio

EOC Audio is a home audio and automation company based in Lisle, Illinois, that builds golf simulators as one of its services alongside home theaters, whole-home audio, outdoor AV, lighting and network installs. The company has been in business since 2007.

Here is how they describe their simulator work, in their own words: "EOC Audio designs and installs state of the art golf simulators that deliver breathtaking realism, pinpoint accuracy, and performance."

A few things set their simulator work apart from a straight hardware install. They have a showroom in Lisle with a working simulator you can try before committing, and Jason, described as their in-house pro and simulator specialist, is available to walk through swing feedback and setup. They work with Carl's Place on the enclosure and screen side of the build, which matters because the structure around the screen affects both how a struck ball sounds and how the image holds up over time. They also build in soundproofing and concealed wiring, two things that keep a simulator room from disrupting the rest of the house, and they load in extra games (baseball, hockey, soccer and others) so the room has a use beyond golf practice.

No price is published for a simulator install. EOC Audio also sells maintenance packages after the install, covering inspections, software updates, cleaning and calibration, and priority service, which is worth knowing if you want ongoing support rather than a one-time install. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, and by appointment. Google rates them 4.9 stars from 227 reviews.

This is a good fit if you want the simulator handled by a full-service AV integrator that can also wire the rest of the house, and you would rather try the system in a showroom first than choose from a brochure.
