About GOLFJOY USA
GOLFJOY USA is a golf simulator company based in Irvine, California, with a showroom at 9995 Muirlands Blvd. It does not state how long it has been in business. It sells two kinds of golf simulators: a personal kit meant for the homeowner to assemble, and a custom-built overhead simulator suite for garages, basements, clubs, offices or bars.
Here is how they describe their personal kit, in their own words: "Our Personal Golf Simulator, is designed for do-it-yourself installation of a golf practice simulator in your garage, backyard, spare room, basement or anywhere you'd like."
The personal kit ships to you and you set it up yourself, with a steel frame that snaps together without tools, which they say takes about two to three hours. It comes with a launch monitor (your choice of GDS Pro or Spica 3), the enclosure, a three-layered impact screen, a hitting mat and turf, a projector, and a one-year software subscription. The overhead suite works differently: it uses dual high-speed cameras mounted to the ceiling to track swing and ball data, and GOLFJOY USA builds it out to the space rather than shipping it as a kit.
The personal kit runs $6,699.00 and is sold only to California addresses and California credit card holders, so it is not an option if you live elsewhere. The overhead suite starts at $20,000 and is quoted to the project from there. Both come with a one-year full coverage warranty. GOLFJOY USA does not publish a phone number, years in business, or installation pricing for the personal kit beyond the shipped product cost.
This is a good fit if you live in California and either want to build the simulator room yourself with a kit that arrives ready to assemble, or want GOLFJOY USA to design and install a ceiling-mounted camera system built to your space.
