Lavish Automation

About Lavish Automation

Lavish Automation is a smart home and AV company that builds golf simulator rooms as one of its services. It is based in Healdsburg, California, with a showroom in Santa Rosa, and has served Sonoma County as a smart home company since 1999.

Here is how they describe their simulator work, in their own words: "Lavish Automation, based in Santa Rosa, designs and installs premium, full-swing golf simulators that transport you to world-class courses using advanced virtual renderings."

Their simulator build covers the ball flight tracking (overhead cameras and infrared sensors reading speed, backspin, launch angle and distance), swing analysis software, and a projection system pairing a 4K HDR projector with an impact screen built to take hits from balls moving up to 250 miles per hour. That screen matters because a simulator room takes real impact day after day, and a screen not built for it will wear out or tear. They also fold the simulator into a Control4 or Crestron system, so lighting, shades, climate and music in the room can be set with one tap, which matters if you want the room to work as a space rather than just house a piece of equipment.

They hold Contractors License #904678, and work as a multi-brand integrator, naming Barco, Control4, Crestron Home, James Loudspeaker and others among the brands they carry, so you are not locked into a single manufacturer's ecosystem.

No pricing, hours or warranty terms are published, so you would need to ask directly on a call. They serve Healdsburg, Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, Napa County, Marin County and Mendocino County.

This is a good fit if you want your golf simulator built as part of a larger smart home system, with lighting, audio and climate control folded into the same project rather than handled separately.
