About Regent5

Regent5 is an electrical contractor and home automation integrator based in San Carlos, California, and builds golf simulator rooms as one of its services. The company works on custom homes, private estates and select commercial spaces across the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California.

Here is how they describe their simulator work, in their own words: "Regent5 designs and integrates golf simulator rooms around TrackMan, Full Swing and Foresight Sports." Rather than building every room around one product, they choose the platform based on the room's dimensions, the player's goals and how much AV and home-control integration is wanted.

Room geometry comes first. TrackMan currently recommends roughly 15 feet of width, 10 feet of height and 18 feet of depth for an optimal setup, and Regent5 verifies the actual layout against the chosen platform before equipment is specified. They also treat the walls and ceiling for impact noise and plan lighting so it stays dimmable without washing out the projected image, since both acoustics and glare are easy to get wrong in a room built around a screen. The simulator, projector, lighting and shades can be tied into one control scene, so starting a practice session is a single button rather than several separate adjustments.

Regent5 holds a California CSLB C10 Electrical and C7 Low Voltage Systems Contractor license, and is Lutron HomeWorks certified, which matters if lighting and shading are part of the room. They also service and upgrade simulator rooms installed by other companies. No pricing, warranty terms or years in business are published.

This is a good fit if you want the simulator room planned alongside the home's electrical, lighting and AV systems rather than treated as a standalone installation.
