About AV Pro
AV Pro is an AV and smart home company that builds golf simulator rooms as one of its services. It operates out of Pell City, Alabama, and has been in business since 2010.
Here is how they describe their simulator work, in their own words: "Official golf simulator solutions powered by Carl's Place and ProTee." They work through Carl's Place enclosure and screen kits, with options that range from a DIY enclosure kit you assemble yourself to a Built-In Room Kit, a Curved Enclosure, and a Pro Enclosure, plus a turnkey panel and curtain finish if you don't want to handle the walls and ceiling yourself.
A couple of things worth understanding before you choose a kit. The enclosure and impact screen are what stop a golf ball moving at speed and keep it off your walls and equipment, so the material and frame matter more than they might seem to. The curved enclosure option widens your field of view, which affects how natural the shot feels and how well the room reads depth and ball flight. Screens come in three material grades, Standard, Preferred and a top tier with a three layer, cushioned core built for sharper image quality and quieter impact, worth weighing if the room sits near living space.
AV Pro holds a state licence (AESBL #2128) and is also licensed in Florida (#EG13000748). They serve Alabama, including Birmingham, Pell City, Hoover, Auburn, Mountain Brook and Vestavia Hills, and the Florida Gulf Coast around Destin, Walton County, and Panama City Beach. No pricing is published, and there's no stated warranty, project timeline, or financing information.
This is a good fit if you want to choose your own level of finish, from a budget DIY enclosure to a fully built-in room, and prefer working with a company that also handles the audio, network, and automation side of the house.
