About GolfSheds
GolfSheds is a golf-specialist company that designs, builds and installs prefabricated golf simulator structures meant to stand in a backyard rather than inside an existing home. It is based in Orem, Utah, where it keeps a showroom at 644 North State Street. The pages don't say how long the company has been doing this.
Here is how they describe their work, in their own words: "Golfsheds are pre-fabricated and built in the USA and ship all across the country."
The idea is to skip a basement or garage remodel and add a separate, standalone suite instead. Each unit is steel and glass construction, engineered to meet building codes and weather requirements, and the process starts with a design meeting to review the install site, followed by 3D renderings and site plans before the specs are finalized. Once built, the structure ships nationwide, with larger models split into two sections and assembled on site, typically with the help of an on-site crane. Basic installation and assembly is included in the price.
Four models are listed, running from a 12 by 19 foot compact studio starting at $72,900 up to a 20 by 27 foot model designed with a PGA Tour pro starting at $174,900. Options include furnishings, blackout shades, a rooftop deck, a fold-away murphy bed, a theater package, a mini bar, and air conditioning and heating. Financing is available through a named financing partner.
What isn't published is a phone number, the launch monitor or projector brands used inside the units, a list of specific service areas beyond "nationwide," and how long the company has been building these. Google shows a 4.2 rating from 5 reviews, which is too small a sample to read much into.
This is a good fit if you want a simulator as a separate backyard structure rather than a renovation of existing space, and you're comparing a shipped, prefabricated build against a custom room build.
