About Tour Greens Ohio
Tour Greens Ohio is a turf and putting green company that supplies and installs artificial grass surfaces, including the hitting and putting turf used in golf simulator rooms, as one of its services. It is based in Sunbury, Ohio, and is a division of Maxx Turf. Tour golfers have turned to the company since 1996 for backyard putting greens, according to the company.
Here is how they describe their simulator work, in their own words: "Tour Greens Ohio can supply and install all of the artificial grass surfaces you'll need."
For a simulator room, that means hitting mats from EZTee and XGrass, some of which hold a real tee, along with short pile putting surfaces built to roll like a true green. Elevated base systems from Ultra Base let a builder set real cups into the surface. For higher traffic setups, the company also works on commercial simulator rooms and complete practice facilities, specifying turf built for heavier use, and it has built full indoor training facilities, such as the Jim Wise Golf Academy at Medina Country Club, which combined a short game green with a sand bunker, a 70 foot putting surface, and an outdoor tee line.
Tour Greens Ohio is a certified dealer and installer for Tour Greens golf greens and is also an authorized dealer for tee line turf manufacturers, which means the materials going into the room come through manufacturer-backed channels rather than generic turf. It serves the Ohio region, though no specific cities are listed. No pricing, hours or warranty terms are published, so those are worth asking about directly.
This is a good fit if you already have a simulator enclosure, screen and projector planned, or are working with another installer for those, and you specifically need the hitting mat, tee turf and putting surface sourced and installed well.
